It is unbelievable that this can go on for so long. The world stands by while innocents are murdered bringing humanitarian aid and help to people imprisoned in their own country. No one can go in or out even from their own seaport. Fisherman are murdered trying to bring food to the strip. We go to visit and give hope to people in a jail where they are denied food,water,ordinary life. Trying to break into a prison full of Men,women and children.
When we arrived in August 2008 thousands met us on their shores.Since our trip, the Parliament building, thousands of homes and infrastructure has been bombed.The world is still watching and not acting to save all these people from their torture;their prison.
